Adventure mountain pre-wedding session in the Italian Alps

We still remember when Laura and Massi first got in touch to have us at their outdoor wedding at Tenuta Suffolk, Roletto. We had met them before, as we have two dear friends in common and we knew how fun and relaxed they were. Of course, we were over the moon when they suggested having their pre-wedding session in the mountains and we figured that the Italian Alps would be just THE place to take their photos. Just like us, they have a special place in their heart for Val Susa and it came only natural to scout for a location there.

They firstly suggested having the session in Valle Stretta, right on the border with France, with views of the stunning Mount Thabor as backdrop. Having grown up in these mountains and knowing how crowded this area would have been in August, made us suggest an alternative place instead.

We then came up with an alternative plan that turned out to be just perfect as the location we picked gave us so many different landscapes and situations and, what’s more, it was ONLY us, literally, just the four of us. We scouted the location the week before, just to make sure that it was going to give them what they wished from the session. The formula was a winning one, starting the photoshoot with stunning views of a mountain lake surrounded by climbing crags, continuing on an easy hike to reach a mountain pass with breathtaking views of the French side of our mountains, with the majestic Pic de Rochbrune in the backdrop.

Not only are we extremely happy with the photos, but more importantly, Laura & Massi enjoyed the photoshoot, fell in love with the pictures and got to be themselves in such a gorgeous place!

Nothing makes us more happy to see our couples being so at ease and having so much fun on a session with us!
