Engagement session in Siena Tuscany

The planning of this engagement session in Siena took a bit of time, not because it was particularly tricky to plan, but you know, it got postponed on several occasions, 2020 right?!

But eventually the 18th of September came and gosh did we manage to shoot!

Meeting Claire and David had been very emotional, it felt like we’ve known each other for such a long time and eventually after so many months of emailing back and forth we could finally meet!

They will have their destination wedding in Tuscany, at the wonderful venue Villa Catignano. Needless to say that we are so much looking forward to photographing their wedding in one of our favourite wedding venues in the Tuscan countryside.

Now back to Claire and David’s couple photoshoot in Siena..

We started the session in a little spot where you can have a nice view of the whole city. I wasn’t particularly crazy about the light conditions there, but it was definitely worth the shot!

We then continued with a very relaxed and fun walk through the (almost empty) streets of the city center, stopping everywhere we would find a little corner that we liked.

We personally love Siena, its narrow little roads, its very peculiar pinkish/redish colour given by the typical stone of the area and the contrast this creates with the more white color of the historical monuments.

Claire & David were simply a pleasure to work with, such a fun and relaxed couple that just wanted to have a fun pre-wedding session in a Tuscan city they loved so much.
