It is no secret that weddings at Villa Catignano are really quite special. Amongst all wedding venues in Tuscany, Villa Catignano is by far one of our favorites! Not only is it absolutely stunning, with its rustic yet elegant vibes, but the surroundings and views you can experience if you get married at Villa Catignano are really second to none.

Nestled in the gorgeous countryside of Siena, Villa Catignano will definitely be the perfect choice for any couple wishing to plan a destination in Italy and feel and experience all the character Tuscany can offer.

Siena’s province is probably one of our favorite provinces in Tuscany: the hills covered in vineyards and olive groves, the historical cities, all the unique valleys dense of UNESCO heritage sites and natural beauties like Val d’Orcia or Val di Chiana, places where you can surely have some of the best culinary and cultural experiences if you decide to plan a destination wedding in Italy.

Due to COVID, Claire & David had to postpone their wedding at Villa Catignano on a couple of occasions. The flip side of having to postpone their day was that they got to get married in October, absolutely THE BEST month to experience all the beauty of the Chianti Hills and the Tuscan countryside.

The tones they chose for their stunning day at Villa Catignano were in fact Terracotta and Burnt Orange Tones.

Claire’s bouquet and all the stunning flower decorations, had been created by one of the best florists in Tuscany, Flowers Living. They absolutely nailed the concept and the colors of their flowers matched perfectly the surrounding Autumn landscape.

With an outdoor ceremony on the Villa Catignano terrace overlooking the city of Siena, Claire and David’s day was filled with laughter, tears, joy: a whirlwind of emotions! We knew we were going to LOVE everything about their day, afterall we met them for their pre-wedding session in Siena a couple of months before and we couldn’t have had more fun together!
