An intimate destination wedding at l’Antica Fattoria di Paterno

Only a few weeks ago we had the absolute pleasure to witness and photograph the overseas wedding of Shannon & Adam at L’antica fattoria di Paterno, a breathtaking venue situated in the heart of the Chianti Hills.

Letting alone the fact that the venue itself offers magnificent indoor spaces, it is the outdoor bits that made us fall completely in love with this Villa.

Shannon & Adam opted for an outdoor wedding with an outdoor ceremony and what better than the grounds of L’antica Fattoria di Paterno to create an ideal Italian wedding setting? The venue offers a beautiful gazebo that for the occasion got decorated by the talented hands of Maurizio at Flowers Living.

Shannon and Adam had a Jewish wedding with a typical Jewish ceremony and therefore they got married underneath a stunning floral chuppah.

They came all the way from Florida to celebrate their day with their closest friends and family who were coming from all around the world. For this reason they wanted to make them live a full Italian experience, they had pizza for dinner, they had gelato as a dessert and they even had mozzarella handmade on spot, amazing!!

In terms of places for pictures, the villa is surrounded by such wonderful fields and hills that the options for pictures are simply endless. The day was perfect, after a super hot week in Florence, they had also been very lucky with the weather, every single person involved made such an incredible job that the outcome of the day was naturally spot on.
