LAURA LIKES
Laura Likes is an eco wedding stationer creating paper goods that are inspired by nature. Laura is based in Cornwall, where she lives with her family and where she crafts her stationery and delivers it all around the world!
She loves to work on botanical and floral designs, printing these onto sustainable materials such as recycled card stock, biodegradable vellum and plantable seed paper.
Her commitment to a green ethos is high and has four main focuses:
Laura’s eco-papers
Most of Laura’s wedding invitations are printed “in house”, using a 100% recycled beautiful textured white card stock. The advantages of these choices on an environmental level are several: producing recycled paper uses approx 50% less energy, it reduces carbon emissions and, of course, it saves deforestation!
Also, Laura has recently started to use a plantable poppy seed paper. She chose a provider that produces the paper in a UK mill using traditional methods. The paper is left to air dry to give the seeds the best chance to germinate. Poppies are a wildflower and have been named by the RHS as one of their ‘Plants for Pollinators’ – attracting insects which support the ecosystem and promote biodiversity.

Everything – and by everything we mean everything! – is 100% recyclable, from the content of the box to the box itself!
Laura’s Green Production Practices
Laura puts a lot of effort in trying to keep the waste to a minimum during the production of her stationery. All off cuts and old print cartridges are recycled.
Carbon Positive
Laura Likes is a carbon positive business. She works with Ecologi to plant trees to offset her impact.
