An elegant elopement at san Galgano and Agriturismo Baccoleno

Mary-Katherine and Ryan eloped in mid June in Tuscany. They chose to set their elopement at San Galgano and Agriturismo Baccoleno, two of the most beautiful spots in the Italian countryside. They stayed in a beautiful Airbnb, surrounded by the most typical countryside, just a stone throw away from San Galgano Abbey, a former monastery that is now roofless and incredibly atmospheric. When we first saw this stunning place, we were left speechless. Little did we know that it would become so familiar, as we are lucky enough to take many of our couples exchange their vows in this timeless location.

After a relaxing preparation in their country house, we organised a first look that set the mood for the day: joyful, natural and so fun!
Exchange of vows at San Galgano
Mary-Katherine and Ryan exchanged vows in the quiet, atmospheric ruins of San Galgano Abbey. With no roof above them, just open sky and the soft sounds of the countryside, the moment felt raw and personal—a simple yet profound commitment in a place steeped in history. After a stunning photoshoot in the stillness of the abbey, they set off in a vintage Triumph, exploring the Tuscany’s rolling hills. Being Ryan a pilot, they surely enjoyed the drive through the winding roads and incredible golden fields.
A gelato stop in Pienza & Golden hour pictures at agriturismo Baccoleno
Their journey led them to Pienza, a town of warm stone facades and quiet alleyways. They wandered at their own pace, taking in the timeless charm of its streets, Stopping for a gelato while admiring the view over the Val d’Orcia. As the afternoon stretched toward evening, we made our way to Agriturismo Baccoleno in the Crete Senesi, where the landscape softened under the golden hour light. The cypress-lined road, the rolling hills, and the quiet of the open countryside provided the perfect backdrop for their final moments of the day—just the two of them, taking it all in as the last of the sunlight faded.
What an incredible day we had! Feeling forever grateful for being part of it!!
